Writing Personal Narrative: Event That Changed My Life

An event that changed my life is when moved to Queretaro; I lived in Hidalgo for 14 years and I moved to live just with my brothers, they were studying in the university and I was in the middle school.  My parents stayed in Hidalgo. That event changed my life because I needed to be more responsible from such a young age. I’m not going to say that I was by my own because my parents didn’t leave me at all.

I needed to learn how to cook, to keep my room clean,etc.  I made new friends; I was studying in a new school. So in a few words it was a big change. It was good because I was able to study in better schools.

The Alien School (Creative Writing)

I don’t know why but today I got up early so I decided to go to school early and do my homework. When I got there, I had a problem with math so I went to the teacher´s room to find Mr. Barnaby. I opened the door and was surprised to see that my teacher´s we’re all aliens.
 I didn´t know what to do in that moment because I was so afraid, everyone was listening to the principal who was a giant purple alien; on the blackboard was written “world domination”! Then like ten seconds later I realized that no one noticed me so I decided to close the door. But I did it so loudly!
I heard a deep silence,  so I ran as fast as I could, then I heard that a lot of people were running. I was at the entrance’s door when I saw my friend Daniel arriving in his bike. I yelled him and I told him that we had to go away. He didn’t ask me why, he just did what I said.
I arrived to my home and I told  everything to my friend. He was as surprised as me. We were at the living room talking about what we will do when my mother came to the living room. She got angry with us because we were supposed to be at the school in ten minutes. I tried to explain what happened to me, but she didn’t listen to us.
She drove for us to the school and left us there. We didn’t know what to do. We walked to our classroom, there; we sat far of our teacher. He kept watching me like ten minutes... I knew! He recognized me! He walked towards me and as he got closer he turned orange. He was in front of me when.... My alarm woke up. I was sweaty I breathed so fast and my heart was beating a lot.

There is no doubt that The Beatles have made a lasting impression on 20th century musical history. Their creative, experimental approach to music was more successful than other groups. Like most bands, they started out with a bit of uncertainty and with a mixture of different band members and band names such as 'The Quarrymen' and 'The Silver Beatles'. 'The Beatles' is the name that stuck though, and they later became known among fans as "The Fab Four".

The final and well-known Beatles consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Their music sends messages of love, peace, imagination, creativity and often evokes a feeling of liberation.

One direction

One Direction are an English-Irish pop boy band based in London, consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. They signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after being formed and finishing third in the seventh series of British television singing competition The X Factor in 2010. Propelled to international success by the power of social media, their two albums Up All Night (2011) and Take Me Home (2012), broke several records, topped the charts of most major markets, and generated hit singles, including "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Live While We're Young".

The wanted

The Wanted are an English-Irish boy band, formed in 2009 who made their debut release in July 2010. The group consists of members Max George, Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran.

Their debut album, The Wanted, was released on 25 October 2010 and peaked at #4 in the UK. The album had three UK top twenty singles released from it, 

In early 2012, the group began to see success in the US and Canada, with hit single "Glad You Came" selling three million copies there.

A day in Marcel’s life

I´m a monkey living in the city, my name is Marcel. I’m a capuchin monkey. I used to lived in a circus were my life wasn’t good at all. There, sometimes I was hungry and cold but not anymore because my owner rescued me from there. Now I’m happy but sometimes I miss playing as I did in the circus.

Now I’m too happy but there was a day that I almost went back to the circus.

 I was at home It was late at night, almost might night, the weather was pretty nice. Lately it was being too cold but not today. That day my owner was going to go out but she forgot to close the door. I thought that it could go out of my house. I needed to know what else was outside for a couple of minutes. I thought it wasn't wrong.

In front of my house there is a park and there are a lot of trees and grass.  It was nice walking without a leash. I saw so many new things like grey birds who made estrange movements whit her heads, squirrels; also I saw a men jumping over the park’s fence... Suddenly I realized that it was my last owner, maybe he was looking for more animals for his circus, I was too afraid so I run too fast and I didn’t really know if he was chasing me but as fast i could I arrived to my house.

That´s was the last time I tried to go out by my own. I’m glad y could return safely so I won’t do it again.

Review about a movie

I’m going to talk about Harry Potter´s books. I’m a big fan; I started to read when I was 8 years old. The story about an orphaned boy who is a wizard. The story describes a complete charming new world where everything is extraordinary. J.K. Rowling´s books talks about everything: Invisibility coats, dragons, magic wands and more.

In my opinion Harry Potter´s books are awesome because it improves your imagination. I think although they are children´s books once you read it you can’t avoid be caught by it. And it´s good for children to read.

I highly recommend reading Harry Potter; the books are good especially for children.  It´s a good way to escape of our daily routine. And about the movies... they are good but never better than books.
